Este curso é indicado para alunos de que nível?
Este curso destina-se a qualquer pessoa que esteja a aprender português, tanto de nível principiante como intermédio ou avançado. Pessoalmente, considero que a fonética de uma língua nova deve ser aprendida o mais cedo possível, para começarmos desde o início a falar com a pronúncia correta. Portanto, quanto mais cedo aprenderes a pronúncia correta do português de Portugal, melhor!

As aulas são em direto ou pré-gravadas?
Cada aula consiste num vídeo pré-gravado com legendas em inglês e português, bem como a transcrição completa em português de tudo o que eu digo. Isto significa que podes ver as aulas quando quiseres e quantas vezes quiseres!

Em que língua estão os vídeos?
Os vídeos são inteiramente em português para que possas estar exposto/a à língua durante todo o curso. Mas não te preocupes! Eu falo de forma muito clara e a um ritmo lento, e cada lição tem legendas em inglês e português disponíveis, bem como uma transcrição de toda a lição.

Posso seguir este curso offline?
Tens de estar ligado/a à internet para poderes ver os vídeos. No entanto, podes descarregar o ficheiro áudio e o PDF com a transcrição de cada lição, o que te permite ouvir as lições mesmo estando offline, como se estivesses a ouvir um podcast. Estes materiais descarregáveis estão na secção de recursos deste curso, à qual podes aceder clicando aqui

Que materiais existem para além das vídeo-aulas?
Para além das lições em formato vídeo, existem também vídeos com exercícios de repetição de palavras e frases e de reconhecimento de sons. A nível de PDFs, tens também acesso às transcrições de todos os vídeos, bem como a um PDF com o resumo da informação aprendida em cada capítulo.

Frequently Asked Questions

What level is this course suitable for?
This course is aimed at anyone learning Portuguese, be it at a beginner, intermediate or advanced level. Personally, I believe that the phonetics of a new language should be learned as early as possible, so that you can start speaking with the correct pronunciation from the very beginning. So, the sooner you learn the correct pronunciation of European Portuguese, the better!

Are the lessons live or pre-recorded?
Each lesson consists of a pre-recorded video with subtitles in English and Portuguese, as well as a full Portuguese transcript of everything I say. This means you can watch the lessons whenever you want and as many times as you want!

What language are the videos in?
The videos are entirely in Portuguese so you can be exposed to the language throughout the course. But don't worry! In the videos I speak very clearly and at a slow pace, and each lesson has English and Portuguese subtitles available, as well as a transcript of the entire lesson.

Can I follow this course offline?
You need to be connected to the internet to watch the videos. However, you can download the audio file and the PDF transcript of each lesson, which allows you to listen to the lessons even when offline, kind of like listening to a podcast. These downloadable materials are in the Resources section of this course, which you can access by clicking here

What materials are there in addition to the video lessons?
In addition to the video lessons, there are also videos with exercises where i have you repeat certain words and sentences and try to recognize certain sounds. As for PDF materials, you also have access to the transcripts of all the videos, as well as a PDF file for each chapter with a summary of the information learned in the chapter.

How long do I have access to the course for?
After enrolling, you have LIFETIME ACCESS to the course, as well as any future updates.
